- INPUT/OUTPUT COMMANDS
-
- <READ> (the SHIFT F10 key) reads a file and inserts the contents
- before the current line. The file can be an ASCII text file, or a file
- created by NYWord.
-
- <WRITE> (the F10 key) allows you to save the file you are editing to
- another file, or allows you to print the file. To print the file, type
- <RETURN> at the prompt. You will then be given a printer menu which
- you may use to control the printing session. To save the file to
- another file, type the file name. All files are saved in ASCII, unless
- specified.
-
- <WRITE BUFFER> (the ALT W key) does the same thing as <WRITE> but the
- lines are taken from the current pick buffer (see the help on block
- commands).
-
- See the help information on PRINTING if you need more assistance.
